Breese Central High School #71, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Agriculture Education Teacher and FFA Advisor for the 2024-25 school year. The newly hired individual will be serving as the second teacher and will be working with Mrs. Harley Painter.
Facilities include a classroom, shop and new greenhouse. Within the agriculture department there are currently 180 students taking an agriculture education course with 100% FFA membership. Current courses offered, but are able to be adapted due to strengths of the hired individual, include Intro to Agriculture Industry, Ag Business, Soil Science and Vet Science.
Candidates should have a valid Illinois Teacher License. Candidates will be paid based on the collective bargaining agreement. This position also may include an FFA stipend or the Three Circles Grant.
