National Agriculture Day is Saturday, March 20. This year's theme is "American Agriculture. Abundant. Affordable. Amazing." Agricultural education plays a key role in making American agriculture what it is today. To raise awareness of the contribution agricultural education makes to the state of Illinois, we have created 30-second messages that we hope you will use during your programming around the date.

In the words of most teenagers, LOL is "Laugh Out Loud." In the words of FFA members, LOL is "Lead Out Loud," especially during National FFA Week, February 20-27. Such a theme is appropriate for Illinois agricultural education. We continue to set high standards and provide national leadership, as you can see in the attached public service messages. We are doing this in FY10 with fewer state dollars.
