The Union County Farm Bureau is currently accepting applications for the part-time position of Ag Literacy Coordinator for Union County.

Responsibilities include providing programming and lessons to grade school students in Union County; organizing fundraising efforts and coordinating volunteers; conducting teacher workshops and institutes; grant writing; and other duties related to Farm Bureau programming.  

Qualified candidates will possess strong presentation skills, good verbal and written communication skills, good multitasking and excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Use of modern technology for meeting, presentations and job communication are a large part of this position. Understanding and knowledge of agriculture required. Previous educational experience preferred. Hourly wage based on qualifications.
