Special Note: Details including format/rules, registration information, etc. regarding all state contests and conferences are being reviewed and adjusted as necessary to plan for in-person events. Event hosts, staff, and board members are doing everything in their power to plan quality events, but will require additional patience this year as we do everything we can to navigate challenging circumstances throughout returning to in-person event planning.
Registration is now open (login to ilaged.org and under Event Registration) and updated rules are posted (on ilaged.org/cde) for the upcoming State Horse and Forestry CDEs. Please note, while event hosts are currently still allowing early bird registration (9-4 for Horse and 9-11 for Forestry) as well as on site registration (except for the Horse Reasons Division with mandatory pre-registration), it is more crucial for contest hosts to have participant and registration information in advance. Please make every attempt to register participants by the early bird deadline to allow contest host sites to adequately prepare given current COVID guidelines on each campus.
The State Horse CDE will require two separate waivers from each participant to be allowed to compete. These can be downloaded and submitted via the Event Registration tab behind the login on ilaged.org. All participants and coaches/chaperones must also agree to abide by all current COVID mitigation policies in place at each contest host site to be allowed to compete. Continue to watch future listservs, ilaged.org/cde, and the Event Registration tab for more information on future events. -- John Edgar Illinois FFA Center Phone: 217-753-3328 Cell: 618-318-5776 Email: jedgar@illinoisffa.org Address: 3221 Northfield, Springfield, IL 62702
