• REMINDER of Constitutional Change VOTE on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the 8:00 a.m. Elections Business Session.  

Due to the proposal of Constitutional Changes for IAVAT to change the name of Section to Regions, Illinois FFA will have one Constitutional Proposal as well, which will be up for a vote on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the 94th Annual Illinois FFA State Convention business session.  

Proposed Constitutional Change:  Illinois Association FFA rename the current 25 sections to 25 regions.

4.  2022 Illinois FFA State Convention Career Show Exhibitors 

Don’t miss out on the Career Show during the 94th Illinois FFA State Convention!  You will find universities, colleges, and businesses to speak to for planning what your next steps after high school may be.  In addition, there will be organizations and businesses there that may help your chapter with fundraising ideas, as well as a few items to purchase.  Our four Illinois agriculture universities will be located in the main lobby, along with the Illinois FFA Alumni with their FFA merchandise sales.  

All other exhibitors will be located in the lower level, Room B-11.

• June 10, 2022 - Ag Communications Materials DUE - For those wishing to compete in the Ag Communications CDE, the deadline to submit materials has been pushed back to Friday, June 10, 2022. Mandatory pre-registration is still due by May 31, 2022. Materials must be sent directly to Holly Bauman (Holly.Bauman@llcc.edu) and CAN NOT be shared as a Google Drive file (best to email as a PDF). A computer lab will be available with the required software, but participants are allowed to bring their own laptops if they prefer to work on a familiar device. Individual practicums will be held Monday, June 13, 2022, at Lincoln Land Community College from 3-5 pm. Signup for team presentation times will be shared after the May 31 registration deadline for times Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the President Abraham Lincoln Hotel next to the Convention Center.
