Bluford Unit High School #318, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Agriculture Education Teacher for the 2022-23 school year. The newly hired individual will be serving as the second teacher and will be working with Mrs. Emily Schumm.
Facilities include a classroom, shop and currently building a new 30x60 greenhouse. Within the agriculture department there are currently 107 students taking an agriculture education course. Current courses offered, but are able to be adapted due to strengths of the hired individual, include Ag Construction, Ag Welding, Basic Ag Mechanics, Exploratory Ag Science, Horticulture Production & Management, Introduction to the Agricultural Industry and Physical Science Applications in Agriculture.
Candidates should have a valid Illinois Teacher License. Candidates will be paid based on the collective bargaining agreement.
