Illinois State Board of Education has partnered with the Illinois Education Association and the Illinois Federation of Teachers to pair first thru third year teachers with virtual instructional coaches to help guide them through these unique years of teaching. Experienced teachers are needed now to participate as virtual instructional coaches and in-building mentors. Click for details.

-Application process, interviews and criteria based
-Attend an orientation/onboarding meeting
-Complete platform profile
-Match to New Teachers (Same Grade Level/Content)
-Support 2 to 6 New Teachers
-Complete 3 modules (12 PD hours) - $300
-Surveys (pre-, 2 snapshot, interviews & post-)
-Dedicate up to five (5) hours per week, on average supporting New Teachers
-Up to $1800 compensation
