Duties
Instruct courses in the Agricultural Education. Overall departmental courses offered include: Into to Agriculture, Agriculture Science, Animal Science, Agriculture Communications and Leadership, Basic Agriculture Mechanics, Agriculture Metal & Fabrication, Agriculture Machinery Service, and Agriculture Construction. Teaching assignment will be determined based on qualifications.Work with the second AgEd instructor to organize and facilitate the FFA program. Effectively employ teaching practices and create a sense of community and respect. Work harmoniously with students, parents, colleagues, and administrative team to effectuate the district mission. The 3 Circles Grant is available to applicant for extended year contract.
Qualifications
Proper Professional Educator License with endorsement in Agriculture Education. Candidates without endorsement may be considered.

Additional Notes
Additionally, Midwest Central is home to the only FFA Owned Irrigated Plot in the State of Illinois. The 14 acre plot is coupled with program owned machinery including a John Deere 4010 Diesel Tractor, John Deere 7000 4 Row Planter, cultivator, Disk, and chisel plow. The Program currently has a steady flow of State FFA Degree Recipients and State Proficiency finalists.
