Dear Educator,

It is that time again! The DuQuoin State Fair will be hosting the Farmyard Follies again on Monday,
August 29th . The event will begin at 4:30 P.M. at the Heartland Coca-Cola Horse Arena. The competition
will consist of several “Farmyard” events. Plaques will be awarded to the first six places. Please enter
through Gate 3. If you can add your email address on the entry form that would be great! Please fill out
the entry form attached to this letter if you wish to attend. We are looking to have a wonderful turn out
for the 100th year anniversary of the DuQuoin State Fair.

All schools must register by completing this form. Complete the form as soon as possible.  The Fair Office must have the form by Friday, August 26th.

General Information
1. Each team will consist of members from their FFA Chapter.
2. Teams must pre-register by Friday, August 26, 2022.
3. FFA Advisors must report to the Horse Arena staging area by 4:00 pm on the day of the contest for registration.
4. The competition will consist of several “Farmyard” events (see attached for possible events). 
5. Plaques will be awarded to the top places.
6. Judges have the right to limit the number of entrants if deemed necessary.
7. Decisions of the judges are final.
