As you submit registration for the event, please include how many vehicles your chapter will bring so that ISU can plan accordingly for enough parking at the event.

How should employment interview materials be addressed?

Please address all employment interview materials to Mr. Dwayne D. Faidley as outlined in the rules (here).

How many students can compete in employment interview and Career Planning/Progress?

If less than five (5) colleges are entered into a specific area, then a second contestant may be allowed to compete in the same area. Please register both individuals during initial registration with a note prioritizing which contestant should be guaranteed to compete and which will compete if capacity allows.

Please find attached a registration form for the 2022 Illinois PAS Fall Conference. This form must be returned to jedgar@illinoisffa.org by Tuesday, October 4, 2022 to participate in the event. We are looking forward to hosting this event at Illinois State University Hancock Stadium on Thursday, October 13, 2022. Contests to be held during the event include Employment Interview, Career Planning/Progress, Soil Specialist, Ag Sales Specialist, Equine Specialist, Landscape/Horticulture Specialist, and Ag Ed Specialist. Click here for a folder of revised rules for each contest and here for a link to the current test banks. Revised this year, there will be no materials submitted prior to the event. All materials should be printed and submitted during on site registration. Click here for a tentative agenda for the events. Please note that registration will include a catered lunch, but there will be no supper provided at the event in order to keep registration costs low and allow teams to get home sooner.

At this time, we are still needing instructors to assist with Employment Interview, Career Planning/Progress, and Landscape/Horticulture contests. If you are planning to participate in the event and would be willing to assist with one of these contests, please email jedgar@illinoisffa.org by Tuesday, October 4, 2022.

If your college has an active PAS chapter, please also submit a brief officer contact form here. The Illinois PAS officers would like to collect contact information for local PAS officers to collaborate and plan additional events each semester that would be of interest to your membership.

Save the Date! We are also planning to host a Spring 2023 Conference at Lincoln Land Community College on Thursday, February 9, 2023 including Livestock Specialist, College Bowl, Crops Specialist, Prepared and Impromptu Speaking, Dairy Specialist, Floriculture Specialist, and Precision Ag Specialist contests.
