Summer Agricultural Mechanics Graduate Course
This summer the Illinois State University (ISU) Department of Agriculture is offering an interactive, hands-on graduate course (AGR 431- Curriculum & Skill Development in Agricultural Mechanics) focusing on providing current teachers with knowledge and skills related to agricultural mechanics. This course will cover a wide range of topics related to agricultural mechanics, including safety, electrical wiring, metalworking & welding, engines, woodworking, and surveying applications. course syllabus can be found on this page. Teachers of all experience levels are invited to participate.
For successful completion of the course, students will receive 3 hours of graduate credit. Current tuition rates and fees will apply. If you are not a current ISU graduate student, you may enroll as a
visiting/non-degree seeking student at https://illinoisstate.edu/admissions/visiting/.
This course is limited to accommodating no more than 20 teachers. Registration for the course is now open. To ensure your spot, please register early.
Grants and fees will cover all workshop materials, refreshments, snacks, and lunch each day.
