212 & WLC Alumni Scholarship Applications - Due November 8, 2019

The IL FFA Alumni is offering scholarships for the Washington Leadership Conference (Juniors) and the 212 Conference (Sophomores).  The applications must be completed through the google forms below, and we are once again requesting the FFA Advisor to write a short paragraph on the student that has sent in the scholarship application.  The scholarship application and the short paragraph needs to be sent by email to hlong@illinoisffa.org by Friday, November 8, 2019.

Annual Gun Raffle - Tickets on Sale

The Illinois FFA Alumni Council is selling Gun Raffle Tickets to support the Illinois FFA Alumni, Scholarships to the Illinois and National FFA Leadership Events. The tickets are $20.  Please see this poster for more information on the Gun Raffle.

The Early Bird Drawing will be Friday, November 1, 2019.  Winning numbers will be determined Monday through Friday during the month of December using the Illinois Lottery's Evening Pick 3 Game.  The daily winner will be contacted by phone, the winner will receive an E-Gift Card for the value of that day's gun from Dick's Sporting Goods.  Value is based on the price of that gun as of June 1, 2019. Winners not wishing to buy the winning gun may use the E-Gift Card to purchase any item that is sold in Dick's Sporting Goods.

Letter of Intent for Alumni Council - Due November 8, 2019

The Illinois FFA Alumni is accepting applications to be on the IL FFA Alumni Council. The IL FFA Alumni Council meets 3-4 times a year to judge scholarship applications, plan the Alumni Annual Meeting & Auction, plan ways to help FFA members, plus many other items.

Please mail, scan/email, or fax (217-753-3359) the attached application to the Illinois FFA Center, 3221 Northfield Drive, Springfield, IL 62702 or to pdavis@illinoisffa.org by Tuesday, November 1, 2019.

If you are looking to be a part of a team while helping others, then this is the place for you! 

National FFA Alumni Outstanding Member Application - Do you know of an Alumni member that has gone out of their way with your Alumni, volunteers, and a great all around person?  The National FFA Alumni Outstanding Member Awards are given in recognition of FFA Alumni members for outstanding leadership and service to agricultural education, FFA, and FFA Alumni.

Please complete this application 2019 Outstanding Achievement Award or use the attached application.  Once these applications are judged, the nominating person will be notified whether the nomination has won or not.   The winner will receive their award as a surprise at the Alumni Annual Conference on January 31-February 1, 2020 at the President Abraham Lincoln Hotel, Springfield, Illinois. Then their application will be sent to National FFA Alumni for them to possibly become a national winner.

National FFA Alumni Outstanding Chapter Application (2019 Outstanding FFA Alumni Chapter Award Application)  The Outstanding Chapter Award honors FFA Alumni Chapter for outstanding accomplishments and serve to encourage other chapters to further their own achievements.  Any active alumni (10 members) can apply for this award.
