Central High School, located in Section 6 between Burlington and Elgin, has a full time agriculture/biology/environmental science and FFA Advisor position opening for the 2020-2021 school year.  Central recently built a state of the art veterinary science building and there are currently over 240 FFA members with an opportunity for significant growth of the program from a regional agreement amongst local high schools that will feed into our program.    

Courses to be taught will be Intro to Ag Science, Plant Science, Biotechnology, Alternative Energy, Biology, and Environmental Science.      

Salary and board paid TRS will be based off of the existing contract according to the successful applicants years of experience and education.  Central also participates in the 3 Circle Grant and offers an excellent benefits package that includes fully paid single health and dental insurance.
