We are beyond excited to be gathering at the Bank of Springfield Center for the 95th Annual Illinois FFA State Convention, June 13 - 15, 2023, as we are all preparing for this event, let’s sit down and discuss our expectations.  Please click here to view our C.A.R.E. - Commitment to Appropriate and Respectful Experiences form for all of our FFA events.  For State Convention, we ask that you review the CARE Document with your students, even have them and their parents sign them and then you have them on hand.  We will not be collecting them at the convention, however, it is just good for you to have them on hand in case an incident may occur.  It helps ensure that you have discussed expectations with everyone attending the convention.

3.   2023 Cream of the Crop Photography Contest

Illinois State Treasurer Michael Frerichs announces the 2023 Cream of the Crop Photography contest is now open!

We encourage all students aged 8-18 to enter the 11th Cream of the Crop Photography contest. To enter the contest, please (click here).

4.  2023 Illinois FFA Quiz Bowl Competition

The Illinois FFA Quiz Bowl Competition will start at 10:00 am in the President Abe Lincoln Hotel (701 E Adams St, Springfield, IL 62701, directly next to the Bank of Springfield Center). Students will be Competing on the 2nd Floor in the Governor Yates room and will be held in Freeport A, B, and C.  We ask that everyone arrive prior to 10 am, so there will not be any delays.  After your students compete, we ask they return to and stay in the holding room, where we will also be posting results until they compete again.  This will allow us to continue smoothly and stay on time.  Here is a Map of the President Abe Hotel - Hotel Room Maps

The IAVAT Board of Directors has approved a deadline extension for Ag Communication materials until June 9, 2023.

President Abraham Lincoln's Hotel Rooms Sold Out for State Convention.

2023 IAVAT Conference - Sheraton Lisle Hotel Room Block Link (Monday night is sold out - change the dates to Tuesday-Thursday and you can book online or call the hotel).  The IL FFA Center is working on getting more rooms in the block 4/12/23.) - $123 Plus Tax, the room block closes Monday, May 22, 2023.  Please note the room block link is set to register for hotel rooms for Monday-Thursday, so please update to the dates that you need before submitting your registration.
