Odin Public School #722, located in Section 21 & Marion County, is seeking a full-time agricultural education teacher and FFA advisor for the 2024-2025 school year. The agriculture program currently serves 55 middle and high school students. The program has had an active calendar for the past 5 years including competitive efforts in CDEs and LDEs; strong foundation in leadership conferences, community involvement, and fundraising efforts. The agriculture department includes a classroom, mechanics shop, chicken coop, floral cooler, storage, and new Promethean board. Odin is a 1:1 school, with all students having Chromebooks. Courses to be taught will be determined by the selected candidate’s strengths. Courses currently offered include: Intro to Agriculture, Horticulture (science credit), Animal Science (science credit), Agricultural Leadership, and Wildlife Management.
Salary based on level of education and years of experience as set by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Odin Education Association and the Odin Public School District # 722 School Board. The board pays full TRS for each teacher.
