Duties
The Morton High School CTE department has an ag. mechanics lab, welding lab, and carpentry production shop. Current courses to be taught (although, flexible based on candidates): Basic Ag. Mechanics, Advanced Ag. Mechanics, Ag. Construction with potential to expand into the Plant Systems pathway. Morton High School is a well-established 1:1 iPad school with top-notch technology and instructional support. Our facilities are experiencing upgrades as funding and space opens up. CTE and the Agriculture program are strongly supported by the administration and the Board of Education. Our community is dedicated to supporting an Agriculture program along with creating a Morton FFA Alumni and Supports group.
Job Summary: Salary is based upon education level and experience. Current required TRS member contributions are a 100% board paid benefit.

Qualifications: Candidates must have an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or Career and Technical Education Educator License with Stipulations (ELS). The school district participates in the Three Circle FFA and SAE grant.
