Vacancy- 2^nd Ag Teacher Sangamon Valley

Sangamon Valley High School, located in Section 16, is looking for a dynamic and dedicated teacher with the passion and patience our students deserve.  We seek candidates who will engage our students.  The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Agriculture Education courses along with our current agriculture teacher, Britney Denton.  Coaching opportunities and club sponsorships are also available.  Potential class offerings include Intro to Ag, Plant Science, Greenhouse Management, Animal Science, Vet Tech, Food Science, Ag Business Management, and Ag Mechanics.

Salary is regionally competitive and based on the current collective bargaining agreement, as well as participation in the 3 Circles Grant.  The school district pays 100% of the employee’s health insurance and retirement.  You can access the current contract here: SVEA Contract.
