  New Teaching Vacancies: Kaneland and Donovan

Kaneland  (District 2)  - Agriculture Teacher & Co-FFA Advisor
Status: Open
Kaneland High School (Section 6), located East of DeKalb in Maple Park, is hiring an AFNR Teacher/Co-FFA Advisor for the 2024-25 school year.
Current courses taught include Intro to AFNR, Intro to Horticulture, Advanced Horticulture, Animal Science, Animal Health and Nutrition (vet science), Ag Finance (for consumers' ed credit), Intro to Ag Mechanics, and Environmental Science.  Course assignments will be made based on student enrollment and teacher strengths.
3 Circle Grant participation is planned.

Donovan High School  (District 2)  - Agriculture Teacher & FFA Advisor
Status: Open

Donovan High School, located in Section 10, is seeking an Agriculture Teacher & FFA Advisor for the 2024-25 school year. With an enrollment of approximately 75 students in the high school, enrollment in Ag is roughly roughly 33.

Courses could include Ag Science, Ag Industry, Ag Mechanics, Advanced Ag Mechanics, Horticulture, Vet Science, Resource Management, and possibly Welding.

A very supportive Alumni has just formed and is ready to help their new teacher however they can.
