Ag Communications CDE - Monday, June 10, 2024

Place:  Lincoln Land Community College, 5250 Shepherd Rd, Springfield, IL 62703

Mandatory Registration Closes on Monday, May 27, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.  Unlimited Number of Students Can Register for this CDE.

Participants are required to bring their own laptops or device.

Per the Ag Communications Handbook:
Magazine Layout Design: Designers may use any page layout software available (i.e., Canva, Adobe Express, InDesign, etc.)
Broadcast Production: Students will need to provide their own headphones and software. Spotify for Podcasters, Adobe Premiere, Express, Rush, or Audition; Canva Video; iMovie; Movie Maker; Anchor; BounceCast; or PodCastle are all acceptable software for this practicum but are not the only available software options.
Social Media Plan: Students may use any design software to create the posts (Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). These are all acceptable software for this practicum but are not the only software options available.

Please choose an area for each student to compete:  Web Design, Video Producer, Journalistic Writing, Opinion Writing.

Cost:  IAVAT Member - $12; Non-IAVAT Member - $48

Submitted Registrations for Cancellations must be made by Monday, May 27, 2024.  If you need to make cancel your registration(s), please email pdavis@illinoisffa.org or call (217) 753-3328 Ext. 107.  

Entering Students' Names - You can enter the student(s) names while registering or just register the total number of students, and come back later to add the students' names.  If the registration closes, you can find the event under Past Events to add your students' names.  Please submit the names the day before the event.

Special Accommodations Form - Do you have student(s) that need help during the contest for vision or any other disability issues?  The form is located under Documents.  If so, please complete this form and email it to pdavis@illinoisffa.org by May 27, 2024.

Trading Post - The Trading Post can be used for CDE's after the registration closes.  Please be sure to pay the school that you buy the spots from, and the original school pays the IAVAT.
