Mascoutah CUSD #19 (Section 22), is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Agriculture Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The newly hired individual will be serving as the second teacher and will be working with Mr. Keith Eschmann. .
Facilities include a classroom, greenhouse and shop. Within the agriculture department there were over 85 students taking an agriculture education course this past school year. Current courses offered, but are able to be adapted due to strengths of the hired individual, include Horticulture Production & Management, Introduction to the Agricultural Industry, Advanced Agricultural Mechanics, Agricultural Electrical Systems, Basic Agricultural Mechanics and Basic Horticultural Science.
Candidates should have a valid Illinois Teacher License. Candidates will be paid based on the collective bargaining agreement. This position also may include an FFA stipend and/or the three circles grant. .
