Carlinville High and Carlinville Middle Schools are seeking applicants for the position of a Career and Technology Education teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Candidates for this position need to hold or be completing licensure through the ISBE and meet high qualified status. All areas of licensure in the area of career and technology education will be considered. Additional licensure and endorsements in other teaching areas for grades 6-12 is encouraged.
Carlinville CUSD#1 is looking for an individual with exceptional skills related to instructional practices, strong verbal and written communication skills, leadership potential, flexibility and willingness to learn, and ability to work with others. In addition to the aforementioned attributes, the candidate will be expected to possess strong instructional skills, be a positive constructive member of the CHS and CMS faculties and staff, and work collaboratively with parents. Technology skills are desirable. Furthermore, in addition to teaching duties, the individual employed will be required to serve on school and district-wide committees. Opportunities for coaching and club sponsorship may also exist.
