Vacancy- Rantoul Ag Teacher & FFA Advisor

Description:
Rantoul Township High School is searching for an Agriculture Education Teacher.  Agriculture classes are some of the most requested classes at RTHS.  RTHS enjoys the demographics of a small urban community in a rural setting.  The student population is around 900 students.   A culture of collaboration has been established throughout the school.  RTHS receives students from 6 different feeder schools. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic who is focused on student success.  RTHS has a strong technology base.  Chromebooks are widely utilized throughout the school.  The Agriculture Education Teacher would be part of a strong Career and Technical Education program.  RTHS is committed to recruiting, hiring and retaining candidates of diversity.  The successful candidate will be part of a two teacher agriculture program.

Location:
Rantoul is located 15 miles north of Champaign-Urbana.  Rantoul is also equidistant from the three metropolitan areas of Chicago, Indianapolis and St. Louis.  The Village of Rantoul has approximately 12,000 residents.

Qualifications:
Illinois teacher licensure in the appropriate content area or Career and Technical Educator License
