August 2024 ILCAE Meeting Minutes, Follow-Up and Other Information

It was great seeing so many of you at the August 2024 Illinois Leadership Council for Agricultural Education Meeting in East Peoria this past Friday.
Special thanks to our host Caterpillar and to the Illinois Farm Bureau for providing lunch.

A few reminders:
1. Don't forget to nominate deserving individuals for the ILCAE Awards. Many nominations must come from ILCAE members and we are counting on you to help us identify those who help support Illinois Ag Education.
2. With a $10 donation you can help Illinois FFA reach the goal of 2,000 intents for the IL FFA License Plate by January 1st. Have your license plate number and expiration date handy when you complete the application. This is not stating you have to get the plate when/if it becomes available. Funds go to the Illinois FFA regardless if the plate is approved or not. Click here for more details.
3. The December Meeting and Awards Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, December 4th at ADM in Decatur. Building location will be shared as we approach the date. Start time will likely be 10:00 a.m. with a 12:00 p.m. awards ceremony. More details soon! Our January and March meetings will be virtual.
