1. Fall Survey

Hey friends, the Illinois FFA Center, FFA Board, SAE Committee, and IAVAT are taking a moment to get some feedback from our teachers for Illinois FFA to make decisions and adjustments down the road.  The Fall Survey includes questions about SOEs, Middle School, State FFA Degree practices, and Proficiency awards. Please find some time to dedicate to completing this Fall Survey to help guide us moving forward.  

2. Recognizing Engagement: Illinois Farm Bureau's Actively Engaged Student of the Month

Do you know an actively engaged student participating in FFA, 4-H, IHSA, and a student activity, club, or organization? Nominate them by clicking here for Illinois Farm Bureau's Actively Engaged Student of the Month form. The student must participate in ALL of the defined areas to be considered. Nominations are good for the entire 2024-25 school year and do not reset each month. Winners will be selected each month, starting in September. Nominations should come from FFA adviser; coach; club or activity sponsor; and/or 4-H or county fair rep. Nominators may also include a letter with further details at the end of the form. The Institute of Competition Sciences is proud to announce our partnership with National FFA, making the Plant the Moon Challenge the first ever Endorsed FFA Activity! With a common goal of growing students’ interest in aerospace, STEM, and agriculture, we can't wait to see the unique perspectives and skills FFA members bring to the PTMC. Just wanted to get you updates about Plant The Moon and hope that you can promote it to your organization. Registration for the Fall Challenge closes on September 15 and we hope that we might be able to engage some FFA groups before it closes.
