Position: Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor
Description: Winnebago High School is seeking an Agriculture Education Teacher and FFA Advisor for the 2025-2026 School Year in Section 1.
Winnebago High School has not had an agriculture program in several years so we are looking for a teacher who is passionate about creating a CTE-centered learning environment. The school administration, community, and students are excited to continue to grow the future of agriculture. The teacher would be able to contribute to building the course and program frameworks, and serve as an FFA Advisor. The courses taught will be based on the strengths of the candidate and community needs. Winnebago High School is a 1 to 1 district and has a robust CTE program. We are excited to add Agriculture Education to our team. The school district does plan on participating in the Three Circle Grant.
Qualifications: Applicants must have an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or Career and Technical Education Educator License with Stipulations (ELS).
