Calling all FFA chapters that are interested in exploring the SIU farms! Sigma Alpha, a professional agricultural sorority is hosting their annual Farm to Fork event to raise funds for Jackson County Ag in the classroom. Get ready to indulge in a delicious farm-to-table experience right at the SIU Farm Service Center. As a part of our professional agricultural sorority, we value philanthropy and giving back to the community. Our philanthropy is Jackson County Ag in the Classroom, an organization that allows individuals to enter classrooms with fun activities to teach them about the agriculture industry and where their food comes from. This event will be filled with farm tours, fun games, and a great meal. We look forward to seeing you on October 19th from 3-9 pm! Our meal will consist of pulled pork, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, green beans, and salad. Thank you for your support, but more importantly thank you for supporting the future of agriculture! If you have any questions, please reach out to
haley.bode@siu.edu.
RSVP at the link below! Because we value the future of agriculture, we have a special offer for FFA Chapters. We are offering all high school FFA members the discounted rate of $10 per student. Advisors, to indicate you are registering your members at the discounted rate, please type your name and FFA Chapter in the "What is your name?" question I.E. Haley Bode, Waterloo FFA. This way, we can make sure that we do not overcharge you. Payment for tickets will be taken at the front door, and we will accept cash, check, and card.
NOTE: If you do not RSVP before Wednesday, October 16th at 5:00 PM, there will be a $2 up charge on each ticket purchased.
We hope to see you all at Farm to Fork!
