9/30 Roster Update

HOT, HOT, HOT - Fry an egg on the sidewalk HOT - Roster Update - You are the second to know!  What we have all been waiting for…the Roster Update.  

The ability for a student and parent to complete the CARE agreement with a code is now complete and live. On a chapter's "Student Roster" page, there is now a column for CARE Code. There is a new link at the top of the page called "Generate CARE Access Codes and Instructions PDF" in blue at the top right. This will allow advisors to generate a PDF with a page per active student with their CARE Access Code and the link to complete the agreement.  Advisors, if you print it and give to your students, they can complete the process and then take the code home to their parents to complete it electronically.  

Once the student visits ilaged.org/care and puts in the code, the video opens, the students must then watch the video, once the video has been viewed, the student then clicks on the Blue Button that states “Continue to Sign Agreement”.  Review the CARE document, students add their name and email and then submit.  

NOTICE:  Each student must watch the video using their code.  Even if you watch the video as a class, have each student watch their video using their code - probably best to have them turn their volume off and just one computer with the volume on.  

NOTICE:  If you have any students who need to register for any event right away or to get them in AET, feel free to submit them early and we will approve in batches this year and as the remainder of your students are completed we will approve them as you submit them.  

STUDENT STEPS: 

1. Go to www.ilaged.org/care

2. Put in code

3. Select FFA Chapter

4. Watch the video

5. Click on Continue to Sign Agreement - Blue Button

6. Review the CARE document

7. Type in Name and Email Address

8. Click on Submit Student Signature

Parents who sign electronically will have the same steps:  except for the parents they DO NOT have to watch the video, but they can if they like.  They simply click on Continue to Sign Agreement and put in their name and email address and hit submit.  

PARENT STEPS: 

1. Go to www.ilaged.org/care

2. Put in code

3. Select FFA Chapter

4. OPTIONAL to Watch the video

5. Click on Continue to Sign Agreement - Blue Button

6. Review the CARE document

7. Type in Name and Email Address

8. Click on Submit Parent Signature

One concerning question we have heard from all of you, what if parents cannot complete the form electronically?  We are working with the programmer that will allow an advisor override, which allows you to send a paper copy to the parent/guardian and then once you have the form back you can check a box for that student that allows you to confirm the parent/guardian signature.  It will also have the ability for the advisor to upload a scanned version of the paper agreement.

REMIDNER:  Student electronic signature is required for roster submission, parent/guardian signed CARE form is required for them to register for events.  

For the membership submission page, it has been updated to only require the student agreement to be completed, not the parent.
