The Illinois Assocation of Meat Processors and the University of Illinois Meats Judging Team are collaborating to continue the Illinois Meats Judging Series in 2025, with banners sponsored by Illinois Farm Bureau. This is open to all FFA and 4-H Youth. These locations are stretched throughout the state. The goal is to increase access and opportunities to build skills in meats evaluation. Each contest will include a clinic. Mark your calendars and look for more information to come. 

Illinois Farm Bureau is sponsoring awards for the top individuals and teams in Junior and Senior Divisions at each of the events.

• January 25 - Raber Packing Company, West Peoria, IL  
• February 8 - Eickman's Processing, Seward, IL
• February 15 - Wenneman Meat Company, St. Libory, IL
• February 28 - State 4-H Meat Judging Contest
