Good Morning, Teachers.
The past few months have brought questions regarding Work-based Learning Teacher Qualifications with the introduction of the Work-Based Learning Designation on your teaching license. The FCAE-LPS Team has been working closely with the Illinois State Board of Education to answer these questions and address the issues brought to us.
Please find documentation linked here that will help guide you. The document illustrates the qualifications that must be met in order to teach work-based learning coded as an agriculture course (left column) and the qualifications needed to teach work-based learning coded under a different career and technical education area at your school (right column).
