State Dairy Foods and Agronomy CDEs Registration - Now Open


State Dairy Foods and Agronomy CDEs Registration is now open. Below is more information regarding registration. The registration page for the event also has Teacher Assignments. Please register if you are able to help the day of the contest. Early Bird Registration for Agronomy ends on November 30th, Mandatory Registration for Dairy Foods ends on November 30th. 


State Dairy Foods CDE


Site/Time:  December 14th, 2024 - University of Illinois, Stock Pavilion Starts at 10:00 a.m. (Registration starts 2 hours before the contest and ends 30 minutes before the CDE begins.)


Registration Details:  

  • High & Middle School Divisions, *Open

  • Mandatory Registration ends Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. 

  • Please enter the students’ names into the registration form as soon as possible and definitely before the contest.

  • The maximum number on a team is 5 students.

  • Assignments - Please choose your assignment or be assigned one.  Chaperones can pick an assignment on-site.  For multiple-teacher programs, please wait until the other teacher chooses an assignment before submitting the registration. 

  • Submitted Registrations Changes:  If your registration is submitted and the registration has not closed, please email pdavis@illinoisffa.org with your changes or if you can no longer attend.  If the registration is closed, please utilize the Trading Post.

  • Trading Post - The Trading Post can be used for CDEs after the registration closes or if you are unable to attend the CDE.  Please be sure to pay the school that you buy the registration spot(s) from, and the original school will pay the IAVAT.  Note:  If you are a Non-IAVAT Member, you will need to pay the difference to the IAVAT.  Please email pdavis@illinoisffa.org with your student(s) names.

  • Non-competing current middle/high school observers will NOT be permitted to attend the contest.

Cost - High & Middle Schools - Maximum 5 Students on a Team (Open - Schools can register for all divisions):

  • IAVAT Member Fees: 

    • Mandatory Registration - $12/Student - Ends Saturday, 11/30//24 at 11:59 p.m


  • Non-IAVAT Member Fees:

    • Mandatory Registration - $48/Student - Ends Saturday, 11/30//24 at 11:59 p.m
