The Genoa-Kingston Agriculture Department is expanding to a 2-teacher program. The courses offered include Introduction to AFNR, and three pathways in Horticulture, Agriculture Science, and Ag Mechanics. Courses include Veterinary Science, Ag Engineering, Ag Mechanics, Horticulture, Floral Design, and more. The specific courses taught by the instructor will be determined based on strengths of the new instructor with the current instructor, Toni Gabriel. Facilities include an attached greenhouse, a pollinator garden and orchard, chickens, and two mechanics shops including a 13-station welding shop and wood construction shop. Each instructor will have a dedicated classroom. Genoa-Kingston participates in the 3-circle program. Any questions on the program can be directed to Toni Gabriel at tgabriel@gkschools.org
