We are once again offering our Teacher Workshop: Field Studies at Forfar and Beyond and we could use your help to get the word out! When: June 28-July 3, 2025
Where: Forfar Field Station on Andros Island, The Bahamas
Cost: FREE - includes all activities for the week, lodging, meals, and transportation to the Field Station. Teachers will be responsible for airfare to and from the field station. There is an optional fee of $275 for us to coordinate your airfare and ground transportation to the field station from Nassau. We recommend letting us coordinate your transportation to Andros from Nassau.

Overview of Workshop: Participants will experience the marine and island ecosystems in The Bahamas while learning the fundamentals of Field Studies including:
· -Coordinating logistics, paperwork, and payment
· -Gaining support from your administration
· -Managing group dynamics
· -Using nature as a classroom
· -Responding to emergencies
· -Utilizing field logs/journals
· -Incorporating cultural experiences
· -Field Studies skills/gear
· -Field Studies lesson planning
