Dear Illinois FFA Advisors,
As we continue the 2024-2025 Local Collection Drive, I wanted to share some important updates and reminders to ensure your chapter receives proper credit and recognition for your contributions:
1. Fiscal Year and Donation Deadlines
- The Foundation's fiscal year runs from July 1st to June 30th. Your FFA chapter will receive credit for this year’s Local Collection Drive for all donations made until June 30, 2025.
- To be recognized at the 2025 Illinois FFA State Convention, donations must be postmarked by January 31, 2025.
- Your chapter's Hopper Fund balance will be calculated after the fiscal year ends and will include all donations made between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025.
2. Check Your Chapter’s Donation Record
- Not sure if the Foundation has received your chapter’s donations?
Log in to your chapter's Foundation profile to view all donations credited during the current Local Collection Drive.
- If you do not know your login information, please contact me at rwells@illinoisffa.org or by calling 217-753-3328 ext. 104.
3. New Credit Card Processing System
- The Foundation has switched to PayPal for credit card processing. To ensure donations are credited to your FFA Chapter, donors must list your chapter name in the "Chapter Credit for LCD, Memorial, etc." section of the donation page.
- Please DO NOT make any Advocacy contributions using the Foundation's PayPal or the "Donate" button in the right-hand corner of the ilaged.org website.
4. Donor Certificates
- Chapters may request certificates for donors to distribute as recognition for their support.
- To request certificates, fill out the 2024-25 Certificate Request Form.
- Submit your request at least 2-3 weeks before the certificates are needed.
- The form will close on April 1, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. CST.
- Donors contributing less than $50 will not receive a certificate but will receive a thank-you letter from the Illinois Foundation FFA. Chapters are encouraged to send their own thank-you notes to donors.
5. Transmittal Updates
- If your chapter’s transmittal includes outdated information, such as inaccurate addresses, misspellings, closed businesses, or individuals who have passed away, please send the updates to rwells@illinoisffa.org.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication to supporting the Illinois FFA Foundation. Your efforts directly impact the opportunities we can provide for FFA members across the state.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out.
