All PAS Chapters - Please click here to submit a brief survey on your preferences for Fall Conference dates in 2025 along with your college's intentions to attend the 2025 National PAS Conference in Wyoming. As a reminder, Illinois PAS does not require Illinois chapters to have paid National PAS dues to participate in Illinois PAS Conferences. Illinois PAS only requires National PAS dues to be paid to participate in the National PAS Conference in the spring.
What: 2025 Illinois PAS Spring Conference
When: February 13, 2025
*Please plan to arrive by 9:15am so that all teams can get checked in and advisors can have a brief meeting prior to morning instructions and dismissing for contests.
Where: Heartland Community College Astroth Community Education Center
Cost: $45/student

Please find attached a registration form for the 2025 Illinois Spring PAS Conference. This form must be returned to jedgar@illinoisffa.org by Thursday, January 30, 2025 to participate in the events. We are looking forward to hosting this event at Heartland Community College Astroth Community Education Center on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Again this year, there will be no materials submitted prior to the event. All materials should be printed and submitted during on-site registration. Two copies of all materials should be submitted. A 10% deduction will be assigned for any materials not submitted by the first assigned presentation time.
Click here to view a tentative agenda for the events. Please note that registration will include a catered lunch, but there will be no supper provided at the event in order to keep registration costs low and allow teams to get home sooner.
Please note that due to continued growth of PAS competitions, each student attending Spring Conference will only be allowed to register for one event with an exam/ID portion since they are happening at the same time. The registration form also now has a column to add notes for which students should be on teams together when a college sends more than one team in a specific contest.
After the PAS Board reviewed the policy for chapters to submit judges for each conference, the following updates have been made for the spring conference:
-Every chapter is required to bring 1 judge/coordinator for up to 10 students competing
-1 additional judge/coordinator is required for each additional 10 students (advisors count now)
-Submit judges with registration along with their judging preferences (2 weeks out)
As a reminder, if you have students wanting to run for 2025-2026 PAS Office, they will need to send me a resume and the attached commitment form by Thursday, January 30, 2025.
