The 2025 Women Changing the Face of Agriculture career exploration event will be held in person at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL on March 7, 2025. Registration will open on January 13, 2025.

This year’s event will include agriculture skills workshops, career and personal development sessions, and a structured career fair. Each student will be able to select three agriculture skills workshops to attend. All students will hear from Cheryl Mitchell and Alex Schroeder in our career and personal development sessions on topics that will prepare students for leaving high school and moving into school or directly into a job. In addition, agricultural companies and colleges will be present for the career fair to guide their next steps after high school.

Each school or organization is limited to 10 student registrants and 2 chaperone registrations. Registration will close on February 14, 2025, or earlier if maximum capacity limits are met. To register for the event, please visit Registration – WCFA (womenchangingthefaceofagriculture.com) for more information. Registration is $15 per person to help cover lunch costs. The rest of our event is made possible by our wonderful sponsors.

Feel free to use the attached worksheet to gather information from your students that you will need when completing the registration.

Women Changing the Face of Agriculture is a project of Illinois Agri-Women (IAW) that showcases a career exploration event for young women interested in agriculture. This event strives to give women the opportunity to explore different career paths, interact with industry professionals, and receive accurate information firsthand from women in agriculture.

We look forward to hosting you again for this career exploration event.
