Registration is open for the 2nd Annual Middle School Agriculture Career Exploration Contest hosted by Olympia Middle School and Heartland Community College. This contest encompasses four different events and is open to any 5th-8th grade student who is enrolled in at least 1 quarter-long agriculture related course. Students are not required to be FFA Members to participate.

Day of Check In: 9:00AM
Start Time: 9:30AM
*We will try to conclude by 12:30PM*
Registration Deadline: Monday, May 5th at 11:59PM
Events:
a. Agriculture Career Presentation (up to 2 students per school)
b. Agriculture Career Interview (up to 2 students per school)
c. Impact of Middle School Agriculture Programs Team Presentation (1 team of 3-4 students per school)
d. Agriculture Career Trivia (up to 2 teams (consisting of 5 students))
Major Event Changes from Last Year:
- Quiz Bowl will now be trivia style where they can answer with their team
- Students can use a slideshow to present on their chosen career for Presentation Event
- Impact of Agriculture presentations will now focus on the impact of middle school programs specifically
- Conversation event will now be more traditional interview style
- Rubrics for all events were updated to reflect these changes and become more middle school and judge friendly
- Building wide campus tour will be held between trivia rounds
- Campus wide tour is an option for schools at the conclusion of the event
