
Wabash Community Unit School District #348, in Mt. Carmel, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Agriculture Education Teacher. The newly hired individual will be serving as the second teacher and will be working with Mrs. Brittany Brown.
Facilities include classrooms, shop and a greenhouse. Within the agriculture department there are currently 170 students taking an agriculture education course. Current courses offered, but are able to be adapted due to strengths of the hired individual, include Basic Horticultural Science, Horticulture Production and Management, Basic Ag Mechanics, Agricultural Welding, Advanced Agricultural Welding, and 8th Grade Exploratory Agriculture.
Candidates should have a valid Illinois Teacher License. Candidates will be paid based on the collective bargaining agreement. This position could also include an FFA stipend, extended contract days, and/or three circles grant.
