As FFA Week comes to a close (after some rescheduled activities due to school winter weather closures), we would like to take a moment to recognize all of our outstanding agriculture teachers in Illinois for the impact they make on their students and communities each and every day. This year, the Golden Owl Award had 369 nominations for 111 different Illinois teachers. Please join us in congratulating these 25 section winners along with the 5 state finalists that were surprised with this honor. The Illinois Ag Educator of the Year will be announced during IAVAT Conference in Springfield, IL this June. A special thanks to Nationwide, Compeer Financial, and Farm Credit Illinois for supporting this award each year.
