Sycamore High School, located in Section 6, is adding a 5th part time Ag teacher/ Part time Science teacher to their program.  

Full-time position with teaching classes in both Science & Ag. Classes in each dept. will be determined at a later date depending on the candidate.

Sycamore High School has a woodworking, welding and agriculture shop, greenhouse, FFA plot and Agriculture barn. Sycamore has a strong and supportive administration that works with both the Agriculture and Science Department. The Sycamore FFA program also has a very supportive FFA Alumni.

Position includes collaborating with current agriculture teachers, Kara Poynter, Brooke Heinsohn, Baylee Newman and Christian Thurwanger, to expand the program through agriculture courses offered and creating new course offerings along with filling classes in the Science Department. 

Certification: Valid Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator License required in both Agriculture and Science.
