• The Exam topic for Dairy Cattle this year is Health/Diseases.

Dairy Handlers Invitational CDE: Please fill out the form linked here: Please complete the form by March 31st at Noon. 

• As in past years, students will be scored following a rubric, and ranked based on their performance for showing at least 1 animal, but they may be assigned more depending on number of participating students. Rubric is attached below.

• Participants should wear dairy whites on the bottom, leather closed-toe shoes, and either FFA official dress jacket or another long-sleeved button-down shirt. 

• If students have their own harness, it is highly recommended they bring it.

Marketing Plan: Intent to compete in the 2025 Invitational Marketing Plan CDE are due Wednesday,  March 19th at 11:59pm. To complete the intent, send an email to swelch@illinoisffa.org confirming your intent to compete in this year’s event.

NEW SITE/Time:  April 4, 2025,Livingston County Fairgrounds, 18142 4H Park Rd, Pontiac, IL 61764.  Starts at 10:00 a.m. (Registration starts 2 hours before the contest and ends 30 minutes before the CDE begins.)

Registration Details:  

• MANDATORY REGISTRATION Ends Friday, March 21, 2025

• High/Middle School Division - Maximum 5 On a Team

• Open Registration - You can register for all divisions.

• Please enter the students’ names into the registration form as soon as possible and definitely before the contest.

• Special Needs Accommodations Form - please email the form to swelch@illinoisffa.org by Friday, March 21, 2025.

• Submitted Registrations Changes:  If your registration is submitted and the registration has not closed, please email pdavis@illinoisffa.org with your changes or let us know if you can no longer attend.  

• Non-competing current middle/high school observers will NOT be permitted to attend the contest.
