Invitation to Participate in SIUC Science Day – April 11, 2025

Dear Ag Educators,
SIUC is hosting a Science Day on Friday, April 11, 2025, and we are inviting local high school agriculture classes to participate! This event will provide students with hands-on experience in science labs, rotating through four different sessions led by faculty.
Given the strong connections between agriculture and science, we believe this would be a fantastic opportunity for Ag students to engage in applied science concepts.
Event Details:
Date: Friday, April 11, 2025
Location: SIUC Campus
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM (Arrive by 8:55 AM)
Format: Students will rotate between four labs (35 minutes per lab)
Lunch: 12:15 PM (Students purchase their own lunch at the Student Center)
Optional Campus Tour: 1:00 PM
We can accommodate 20-25 students per school, with a buffer for 5 additional last-minute spots (total of 30 max).
Next Steps – Please Confirm by March 21, 2025:
-If you are interested and able to attend
-Headcount of students attending
-Headcount of faculty attending
Closer to the event, we will provide a QR code for student registration.
