Good Afternoon!
I know the count down for the last day of school is on at our house with one preparing to leave middle school and one preparing for his brother to join him at the high school. As you can imagine, they are both counting down for different reasons. I hope the count down and all that the end of the year brings is going well in your district.
Just a little reminder sent on behalf of Jason Mott, Illinois State Board of Education Agricultural Education Consultant to those of you who receive the grants to wrap up those FY25 grants and be sure to complete your FY26 intents/applications.
End of Year Grant Checklist:
May 15th - Intent to apply for the FY26 3 Circles Grant is due. Use the link provided. Budgets will be added to IWAS after allocations have been made.
May 15th - Quality Indicators for SY25 completed for the Ag Incentive Funding Grant for FY26 funds. Use the link provided. Budgets will be added to IWAS after allocations have been made.
May 30th - All amendments due for FY25 3 Circles Grants and Ag Incentive Funding Grants. Be sure that you have amended your application to include the additional funds that were added to programs that are not in their first two years of programming. Jason has received 112 of the 357 amendments so far. Keep up the great work!
June 30th - Last date for teachers with the 3 Circles Grant to add hours in the Agricultural Experience Tracker. Teachers will need to have completed 400 hours between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025. You will need a copy of these hours to include with your final report. You will also need to submit proof of payment for the 3 Circles Grant on school letterhead that is signed by the administrator and the teacher in your final report. Click here for an example.
