It is with a very heavy heart that I am sharing with you the passing of retired agriculture teacher and FFA advisor from our Illinois agriculture education family, Mr. Russ Leman.  Mr. Leman taught Ellsworth from 1973 until 1976; at Metamora from 1976 until 1979; and at Roanoke-Benson from 1979 until his retirement in 2006 and served as the 1989 - 90 IAVAT President; he was a beloved teacher, mentor and friend not only in his community but around the state and country.  Our sympathy and prayers go out to all of the family, friends, loved ones and the countless lives he impacted.
