Just sending this as a reminder of graduate level courses we are offering this summer:

AGED 499 FSW – Food Science with Dr. Ma
This 2-credit graduate course was announced previously. You can refer to my earlier email for full details, or feel free to reach out to me or Amy (bunselme@illinois.edu) with any questions. Amy and I are especially excited about the curriculum and hands-on activities planned for this course.

     - Best practices & food handling and safety
     - Food quality and evaluation of foods
     - Cheese Fermentation
     - Protein coagulation
     - Starches
     - Yeast in bread
     - Fruits, cookies, muffins
     - Tours of Riggs Beer Company and FSHN Pilot Processing Plant

AGED 501 CI – CASE Course at Pontiac
For those participating in the CASE course in Pontiac, this is a 3-credit graduate option.

You can find these and other online summer courses through Illinois Online. For ag ed-specific courses, scroll down and click the dropdown arrow to view all courses under that rubric.

Tuition: $520 per credit hour.
