Overview
The purpose of the Agricultural Education Career Development Event is to provide
students with the opportunity to develop skills essential to a career in agricultural
education. Key components of a successful agriculture educator include being able to
develop lessons within the agricultural education pathways using a variety of hands on
teaching strategies to reach a multitude of different learners.

State Submission
Please submit lesson plan (in required template) and supplemental materials through this Google Form. Remember that you must have advanced through as the 1st or 2nd place finalist in your District Ag Ed CDE. Materials should be submitted by February 15th, 2025. If your school does not allow Google, please email Megan Coy (mcoy@ilaged.org)
