Overview
Participants will demonstrate skills and knowledge needed in forest management. Event
components include taking a general exam, identifying tree species, and identifying
forestry-related tools and equipment. Participants will complete practicums that include
tree management, map interpretation, forest management evaluation, compass use,
chainsaw use, and tree/forest disorders identification.
